Hey everyone: go outside and look at the eclipse!

And tonight: Go CARDS!!! I don't want the series to end tonight!!!

Well in Minnesota the skies were overcast and the moon was not visible to see anyways so we missed out on the eclipse. I too am sorry the Cards didn't have what it took to win any games. I was pulling for the Sox but it would have been nice to have some drama to remember it by. Next year the only ones who will remember who won will be Bostonians.

Blech... I feel so physically ill right now... I hope I can make it another hour and a half without getting sick... my whole body feels kinda outta whack.

Dunno if it was something I ate, but I just felt nauseous for several hours yesterday... then I had a nap after work and when I woke up, I felt better!

I think I was just anxious about my grandma 'cause we had a middle-of-the-night phone call (nobody got to it in time and they didn't call back) and somewhere along the line I learned that middle-of-the-night phone calls mean bad news... when I'm stressed or worried I tend to react to it physically.

But it turns out it was my brother's best friend, who isn't really blessed in the common sense department, who called.

Yep, I had the middle of the night call last week - not fun at all. Actually, my husband answered the phone, and after 30 seconds when he hadn't talked and hadn't hung up, I had that sinking feeling that something was very, very wrong. I've also been under the weather the last few days. Our bodies aren't made to take shocks like that very often.

I'm glad your grandma is doing better.

Lessee... Middle of the night calls...
The sherriff's department looking for an acquiantance of our exchange student. The "friend" had lied to her parents and said she'd be at our house.

My nephew soliciting funds for the Variety Club children's charities.
My nephew going into ICU from an asthma attack. (almost died)
My B.I.L. calling about Brooklyn Petithory, the little girl that drowned in the bathtab- dad was on co- caine and fell asleep with the water running. He was asking for prayers for her.
Calls from the security company telling me the alarm was triggered at the restaurant.

Yeah, most middle of the night calls are bad.

LOL My mom called one of my sisters at 2 am once. She asked, "did you say you were bringing the kids over now?" In the background, you can hear my dad saying, "the phone didn't ring! You were dreaming it." (My sister hadn't called my parents.)My sister said she's shot up off the couch, heart pounding. I think it took her a couple hours to get her heart rate slowed down. We still sit around at holiday time and get a good laugh out of it.

www.praize.com and go to the bottom link in the second column of the box..it says "messenger."

There's also Trillian (but I think Praize runs much better and smoother!) I tried Trillian a few years ago and was not impressed.

Don't know who the genius is, but I sure like it when I want to run all the messengers! I've not had problems with it unless AOL or the Internet service had has problems!
