Once in a while we eat at Micky D's. They have this 99 cent menu. Then the senior drink is like 15 cents. My husband has this fixation on getting the cheapeset meal possible.

Yesterday we ate at Kentucky Fried Taco Bell. They had a chicken fried steak special with two sides. Only $1.99. Two of those plus the free senior drink came to less than $5.00.

I saw the roast beast in the deli yesterday. But we bought a pork roast instead. It's still hard to feed two people a three course meal for less than $5.

I get to usher & serve this Sunday. I was so nervous the first time I did it I forgot to say, "The Blood of Christ shed for you." for the first three people.

When I helped serve last year at Lent, (Ash Wednesday), I had the sniffles. We were serving by intinction, but people were kneeling at the communion rail. I was leaning over, and my nose wouldn't quit running! How embarassing.

We can laugh now. I guess it is alright as long as nothing actually dropped into the challis.I did the duty once before my cataract surgery. I started lifting the try up before the lady had moved the full little cup away from the tray.
It was a close call.

I was also holding one chalice with wine, and another with grape juice. The organist told me later that she thought I may have been crying. hee hee. NOPE! I was just being a little snot!

Okay, so I've gotten lost in the Adam's Mark hotel more often than not! Yes, even with the map! At least I've figured out where the little seminars are usually held. Lost And Found performs today!!! Yay!!!
