I'm going to a National Youth Workers Convention held by Youth Specialties. This year they've been in Anaheim, are going to be in Dallas and are also going to hold one in Atlanta - http://www.youthspecialties.com/NYWC/

There are tons of great speakers, seminars, bands, resources. . .and I only know this from the website! I'm getting really excited about it all! Just not excited about the six hour drive in a truck with no air conditioning, but at least I got a CD player in it now so I'm not having to mess with the radio!

You ought to cum up here to da nort land of Mini apple us. We are just starting to turn da colors of da leeves. We actually have culture up here too. Though I will admit that I have never hurd of the Twin Cities being called a Metroplex.

I lived in Fort Worth for a year and that is more like Metro Complex with all the cities in between. My Grandparents in law still live Fart Warth.

George and Michael (the two guys in Lost And Found) kept calling Minneapolis "The Metroplex" in George's Newsletter. Now, they tend to say "Minneapolis" or "The Metroplex, sorry to those who are offended by the term." They tend to give every place a strange name. They have the Intermitent Windsheild Wiper State (and I'm still not sure what state that is).

I don't know if they have a name for Texas or the Dallas area. Of course, their names can change just depending on what's happening at that current time.

My mom picked up dinner from McDonald's and I'm eating chicken nuggets and drinking apple juice and the strange thing is that drink apple juice and eating the nuggets is making it taste like I have a very light coating of barbecue sauce on my nuggets! How odd. . .
