So I will share some of my poems from my creative writing class in college... I was probably 24 years old at the time.

These palms will not suit everyone and I totally understand. The first one is about when I was 20 years old and had just become a Christian or born again. The first year was rough and I definitely had to clean out and make choices with a lot of things to walk away.

The title is I cannot kiss you. the professor wanted me to throw out that I was on my way to Bible study on my 20th birthday. He felt it was irrelevant, but I kind of would have like to have left it in there because it shows about faith and the choices I'm making.

True Poetry is an expression of the heart and the less the head, though the head is necessary. Youth is a time of intense feelings and needs a strong spirit of love and compassion and forgiveness for others. I remember meeting woman about 18 only a couple of years younger. We enjoyed each others company. I was told that she was not a virgin and she saw the person telling me. She came back over and offered herself to me. I put my arms around her and "I don't care. Friends." We remained friends but not intimate and she taught me to ice-skate. Strength can come from unexpected temptation. Express your heart and spirit, keep strong, serve others humbly.

Gated Communities
The Blacksheep!
The Wilyfox!

The Priestly rich
Crucified,
by a grasping poor.
Oblivion rules
the opulent fear.
Moral police.
Godly Law, divine order
Virginity guarded.
Prostitute condemned
technological Christ
national pride
Man! A God!

M a n.
S i l e n t.
B e a s t.
Crushed in Cities.
Doorway
Unit
House
Open Prisons
A black sheep?
A Wily fox?

A priestly people
crucified,
for grasping God.
Lack rules
the Suffering love.
Godly Man, divine chaos.
Prostitute freed
becoming VIRGIN.
Creation Christs
Community found.
Man? Fully Man!

Life and agape love is messy, so live and love in the chaos of the now kingdom (reign) of G-d.
