paper treasures

how fragile the treasure of paper
how strong the home of bad folds
how captured the nowhere in creases
how everything an empty page holds

how wrinkles may clutter the margins
how tears are formed on the side
how tempting the lead poisoned pencils
how confetti the tears that are cried

Serial killer poem.....lol

"He'll attract all sorts of beauties to the party and create a good mix." should be

"He'll attract beauties to the party and create a good mix."

Prolly some other changes but I'll leave it at that one.

I am never invited to parties and that I wish to change
I will throw my own party, a killer party, in my home
I have a list of invitees for the sake of this poem
A guest list that is of a whole character range.

I will invite Jeffrey Dahmer for his cooking skills, why?
Mainly to cook meals that involve his mystery meat
A sweet treat that cannot be beat
Just whatever you do, don't accept any drinks from the guy.

This party will need to attract chicks
So I'll invite Ted Bundy to use his irresistible charm
With good looks like that, he can do no harm
He'll attract all sorts of beauties to the party and create a good mix.

This party will need blow and a hooker
So I will need to get into my car and do a search
It won't be downtown but a place full of trees of birch
I'll find and invite Aileen Wuornos because she's quite the looker!

This party will need some fun and excitement
Something more exciting than Ouija Boards and the Bloody Mary ritual
So I'll invite Richard Ramirez so show us something satanically spiritual
He will makes things more interesting for guests of any alignment.

For more fun and excitement, we'll need a prankster
So I'll invite Paul Michael Stephani to entertain us with prank phone calls
They will stump the police and our echo of laughter will fill the halls
With his funny voice and antics, he'll be the the real party gangster.

Speaking of antics, this party will need a clown
So I'll invite John Wayne Gacy to humour us with his jokes
A silly dance here and some juggling there for us blokes
With a guy like him, who can make a frown?

This party will be so great that crashers will try to get in
So I'll need to hire a bouncer with a strong body and quick mind
I know! I'll invite Edmund Kemper to kick their behinds!
He'll make the party grounds safe, secure and free of sin.

For extra caution, this party will need a doctor
So I will invite Harold Shipman, that gentleman
With a mind like his, he can also be the party's middleman
He could even be our proctor.

Music will be needed for this spectacular event
So I will need to hire an engineer for the audio equipment
I will invite Ted Kaczynski, he recently got his tech shipment
That is indeed some budget money well spent.

I'll invite Anatoly Onoprienko, maybe
He might not have much to contribute
but then again, he has a positive attribute!
It will be worth it for him to show up, have fun and later tell us, 'Hasta la vista, baby!'

Now my guest list is complete and the waiting can't be long
I have it all planned out with chips, beer and sauerkraut
As well as games, movies, dancing and everything parties are all about
With guests like these, what could possible go wrong?

Some say I ordered a dame to be capped in the knee
Regardless I made a plea
Avoided jail time

suppose that happiness and heartache
arent the only things a man can find.
his thorough search through backache
can out-weigh the heart and he is happy

sometimes of it, but his joy of pain
won't just let him rise above it.
his hollow, narrowed pace is sometimes
tart. he's living life looking for the

light in the wire but the higher the looks
the lower the fire, faint glows that
keep him on. this balance may have been
his greatest art. he cant go back.

here is my version....

I like to skate,
I did not even date,
I wanted a boyfriend named Nate,
But it was to late, I bought a pair of skates,

My mom said I was good and to break a leg,
My dad told me I was good and to break a leg,
My whole family told me I was good and to break a leg,
My skating friend told me I was good so she told her boyfriend to break my leg.

I became famous,
But I had no personality,
I was on national tv ,
And made a fool of myself
I did not know how to be cool,

I think if I was to do it all over again,
I would put up my skates,
And go uptown,
And find me a boyfriend,
By the name of Nate.

Or the clip where she mocks Oksana Baiul for crying at the Olympics?

Regardless, I don't think Nancy made much of a fool of herself after that, lol. I just think she was never comfortable with a lot of attention being paid to her.

Yes on the video.

I think she is just a normal girl and was not prepped to be a national personality. Just because she could skate does not mean she knew how to act.

On the other side of the coin Tonya Harding had way to much personality and if she would not have been so dumb as to have her boyfriend break Nancy's leg she could have became famous if she would have gone to the Olympics because she had personality.

Tonya was a much more fun skater to watch if we're talking raw power, I'll give her that.
