One Toy


Take that wind up toy and crank.
This is not some twisted prank.

Let's wind it up and let it go.
How far it goes we do not know.

This wind up toy is my best friend.
I do not know how this will end.

I've played & played & played & played.
This toy is worth what I have paid.

Twist and turn, release and watch,
Every day's increased a notch.

Gears of plastic, spinning disk.
Your fragile parts increase the risk.

You are mine. You are going to break.
But this is the chance
I'm willing to take.

Behind it all

There seems to be

Some grand design

Not of me

He's the Weaver

I'm the twine

My skin is white
But I don't bite
My ancestors were evil
But some were also civil
Malcolm X would spit on me
But why should he diss on me
When life isn't a dichotomy

This is like the time in my life.. where I still had some white guilt left.. before the hypocritical SJWs took it all away..
