  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This is on a non-sexual basis.

So we like to have a lot of fun together and honestly for us there's no temptation to go farther than we have..which is hugging, kissing, holding hands, and sometimes just snuggling and watching a movie, stuff like that. But Ken knows just how to pleasure me in a non-sexual way, he knows just how to make me feel loved, cared about, filled up...sometimes I feel at a loss as to how to make him feel that way. When I talk to him about it, he's always so sweet and tells me that I do a wonderful job and I bring him so much joy every day just by being his Sweetheart, he doesn't need anything more.

So what if I want to do something extra? I would love to do something extra once in a while and I just have no idea! In general we aren't the gift-giving type of people, but we like being creative and snazzing life up with random stuff. He's a VERY random person, and I never know what pleasures him or what he likes. Any ideas on what guys typically like? :help:

:) I think his top is physical touch and quality time. He doesn't know though lol. And I don't know. I KNOW his top is physical touch. As for quality time, he needs his time alone so it's hard to tell when is a good time and when is a bad time type of thing. We've worked it out fine but it's interesting sometimes.

However, maybe I just need more creative ideas on what to do with him...together, fun, romantic, sweet, whatever. We hang out a lot but don't do a lot. Hmm...oh and as far as the massage thing goes, I already do, a lot cause I love to do it to him, I've had some training anyway, and he sure loves to get it. It is one way I can give to him and not arouse him lol. Usually puts him to sleep if I do a full back rub :)

He loves chocolate, more than I do. He also loves peanut butter, cherries, and apples. He just loves food period. But he always thinks it's super sweet if I go out of my way to get him or make him something special. So maybe I can do something along that line.

I dunno, I just love him so very much and I rub his shoulders and head and even feet sometimes, and I do bake for him (when he isn't complaining about losing weight hehe) and I just want something extra special to show him just how much I love him, without it being too sappy, too obvious, and overdone :)

The funnest, most memorable dates (or chances to hang out) are always the simple things.... You don't need to think too hard to plan out a perfect date.
For example, on Tuesday I was racking my brains trying to think of something to do with my boyfriend that night... all we ended up doing was catching a movie, and then eating kebabs while we sat on the hood of my car. It was cold, so we stayed close, and just had some really sweet conversation. For some reason, sitting there chatting, balancing our drinks on the flattest spots we could find, and dropping bits of lettuce all over the ground was sooo fun!!

Do you know what his love language is? My top ones are touch, service, and time. So a massage is the perfect combination of all three.
intresting that you should menion the love language. I have been wanting to find out more about that book and want to know if it's a Christian book? I know I certainly aprreciate hugs, being told I'm loved, and am wondering if my fiance and I should read this book. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

I am pretty familiar with the content in general and have taken soe tests based on it, I do not know think it is a srictly Christian book but I haven't actually read the real thing so I don't know. I do know there's a version for dating couples so that you don't have to translate from the married ideas to single ones.

Here's a thread right here in the courting forum which has a link to an online test: Know Your Love Languages
My boyfriend and I both have quality time and words of encouragement at top of our list
