The more and more i read over these christian forums on the internet its truely disgusting as to what people think on how to live for Jesus and how they justify sins.. i see many posts about gay marriage etc and so on..
where are these so called professed Christians desire to take up their cross daily and follow the one who gave his life for you. The one who bled and died for the very sins you commit?

First off i want to tell you of some false information from when i gave my testimony back on youth sunday. You see satan still had me blinded, but the Lord has laid a heavy burden, a heavy desire on my heart. Its not just for those who are lost, because i pray they seek Jesus and I can be a witness to them. But it not those of the world who the Lord has laid on my heart, its those of the Church.
Today we are going to take an exam. An examination of our souls.
2 Corinthians 13:5 says: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

What is the difference in change by the Holy Spirit rather than self-improvement effort?
Now back on youth sunday on my 4th point- Are you a soulless christian? I told of how when i first came to the altar because my parents wanted to see me accept Jesus, but i didnt understand nor accept Him that day. Then i told you of the following summer when me and my brother thought we heard a gunshot outside, but it was a blow transformer and my dad and the next door neighbor went outside with guns. I told of how the Lord started dealing with my soul and I asked him into my life.
But..But, heres the shocking part i never accepted Him! It was a prayer out of emotion and fear. I never knew HIM. Satan kept me blinded for years thinking just because i said a prayer I was going to Heaven. I sat in the church since 12yrs old bound for an ever burning Hell.
How do i know i wasnt saved? Well the Lord started dealing with me on this message about 2 months ago. Me and a fellow Christian were talking about 'easy believism' a doctorine i belive is prominently taught in the church today.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You see I never had the desire to live for the Lord or read his word like i do now. It was more of an obligation or when it was conveinent to me. I truely accepted the Lord on May 17,2009. I finally knew the real reason for Christmas this year, because i finally accepted that free gift of salvation.
I believe just as i sat on these pews for years and years there are many others here that also think because they are warming the seat of a pew, they are saved and on their way to be with Jesus. In all reality though, they are going to find a hotter seat in Hell. Remember the Exam? I hope you are taking it serious.
in Matthew 7:22 it says many in that day will cry Lord Lord
then in Matthew 7:23 He will then tell them Depart from me ye servant of iniquity, I NEVER KNEW YOU!

Romans 8:5-8
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
I believe the Lord gave me that message even though i was still blinded. I believe it was for those who were leading a Carnal lifestyle. God was giving another warning. The correlation between what i was saying and thinking pretty much goes hand in and hand. You see you cant tell the difference between those who are lost and those who are living a Carnal lifestyle, they are both worldy and both give into the flesh.
The Lord brought something also to my attention. I was on a job a little while ago and this guy that lived behind the job would come up, as it was his mom's house we were doing, and he would talk to us. This particular day he had on a pullover w/ his church's name on it. One day he was talking to the guy we did the job for about ordering some materials for his church. Though everytime he would talk too us filth would spew from his mouth. You see when i was lost out doing things on my own living the worldy lifestyle i did the same thing while out in sin, in rebellion against the Lord. The thing is if you are a child of God's and living in this manner, heed the warning, for God wont let you stay in it for long. Chastisement comes to those who dont harken unto his Word.
Colossians 3:8 - one of the things it says is to put off filthy communication out of your mouth..
I urge you, please, if this is the kind of lifestyle you lead dont mention the church..
#1 you will be a stumbling block unto the lost, the carnal lifestyle
#2 i take pride in my church, this is where i come to worship and praise my KING
#3 its Gods house
remember how i told you about the lost thinking Christians today are hypocrites? i dont want to go out and to witness unto the lost and mention this church and they say that church??? i know so and so down there and they live no different than i do. i believe that church is just a church full of hypocrites no different than me or anyone else!
How does your walk witness to the world Church?? Are you following in the Shadows of Jesus??
Just remember this Jesus came to this earth, a sinless man. He came to die for us. The cat of nine tails he took across his back that ripped flesh and blood he did that for the very sins we commit. Everytime they spit in his face, beat him, and then jabbed the crown of thorns upon his head, that was for us and the sins that we commit. Then when he took he took the nails, the nails that drove deep into his hands and feet that was for us, for our sins!
A person raised without knowing Jesus, but raised on good morals. Even they have a guilt when they do something wrong, but let me tell you something if you truely know Jesus we shouldnt have a guilt. When we fail God it should sadden our heart everytime we fail him!

The main message i will be giving is coming from Luke 6:39.. its what the Lord has laid on my heart about his direction for us and the direction of those in the church.
Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?
You see today if you have financial problems, its go see a financial advisor. If you have mental problems, seek help from a psychiatrist. If you have marriage problems, seek a counselor. If you have problems to talk about, run to a friend.
Instead of running everywher else, why not seek the Master? Why not seek Jesus? Can he not help you? You see without the Lord's direction in our life no matter what it may be, we are blind also if we dont follow HIM.

in 1990 86% professed to be christians in the U.S.
2000 that fell to 77%
after 2005 that fell to a little below 50%
Some people say we shouldnt talk about politics in the church as it could cause division and problems between brothers and sisters in Christ, but in my opinion it needs to be taught. We need to teach it from the Word of God. People today wear their feelings on their sleeves and we are too afraid to offend someone. We dont want to hurt them. But yet we have to do it and do it out of Love. We have to teach the full counsel of God. Its not popular today to speak a word of correction or a word of reproof against sin.
We wonder why our nation is as bad as it is, but you see I feel it has started in the church. We have allowed it. Here we are saying we stand and live for Jesus, but over the years weve put people in office who have allowed:
Gay Marriage
Abortion
10 Commandments to be removed from the courthouse
prayer taken from the schools
I may have left many more things out, but you get the picture.
Its not im Hardcore Republican, Im Hardcore Democrat. I want to know are you Hardcore Jesus and Hardcore on the Word of God, the full counsel of God?

But too many Christians today are ashamed to take a stand for Jesus.
I believe we are accountable on how we vote, and following the Word of God.
Parents today arent taking a stand with their family either. Yet we wonder why this generation is the way it is. The parents say they stand for Jesus, but yet arent raising their kids on the true Word of God.
Instead of Jesus raising them, Hollwood is.
Hollywood teaches them how to dress provacatively, letting everything hang out. It looks like theyve poured themselves into their outfit instead of teaching them about modest dress.
Hollywood teaches them how to curse His name instead of praising His name.
Hollywood teaches them how to be adulterers and fornicators instead of being pure, being a loving husband/father or wife/mother.
Hollywood teaches them a lifestyle of sin instead of a lifestyle of righteousness.
Today it hurts a childs self-esteem to discipline them, look at me im pretty sure a little leather didnt hurt me.
The bible says in Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
If the rod wasnt sparred today you wouldnt see kids killing babies and murdering others.
Now take a look Church. whos gonna take a stand for Jesus, on the Word, the full counsel of God?
Whos going to be our next Preachers, Preachers wifes, deacons, sunday school teacher, youth leaders, etc and so on? who is it going to be? do you have a desire to seek Gods will, to read his word, and to grow closer to HIM?
Times are getting worse and persecution is going to get worse!
John 15:20 says Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Are you going to take a stand? or are you going to be ashamed? Do you really Know HIM? Do you desire the things of God?
Remember Columbine? It was rumored they asked a little teenage girl if she believed in Jesus. She said yes, stood firm on Jesus. Gun pointed at her face, they shot and killed her.
Do you have that kind of relationship with the Lord? Do you make him #1 in your life regardless of thinking what about my family,kids,friends,etc?
Luke 14:26 talks about putting the Lord #1 in your life... once you find this out youll see he will take care of everything else in your life!
We need 4 R's across the churches of the nation.
-we need a Revival in our hearts.. Revive Jesus
-come to Repentance
-faith in Jesus Restored
once we have done this we can...
-Rest Assured because Jesus is the Rock we stand on and He will deliver us from all things. and we have a home in Heaven waiting for us!
