Please read :)This is what happened to me on the plane!

Hi,

My husband and I traveled to Hawaii a few years ago and I have a phobia of being in planes! I hate the thought of being so far up in the sky and having faith that the pilot won't screw up. It's scary, for me. Funny thing is, we traveled to China in Sept. of 2001 and that was a 13 hour plane flight!!!! I felt sick and green in the face when we got there.

Anyway, I bought a crossword puzzle to take with me to kill some time. I got to the FIRST crossword and I began searching for words. First word I found was TRAVEL, then found the word PLANE, then found HOBO (traveler), and then FAITH!!!
I showed my husband and he said "See, God is telling you don't worry, everything will be ok"
How strange, it was the FIRST crossword I worked on out of the 20-something crosswords in the book!
God works in mysterious ways!

He isn't normally as obvious in my life as he was in your situation. All I have to say if that he know what you need and obviously knew what you needed to hear.

that's awesome, i personally do not like planes either...while for everyone else it seems like a normal thing i'm in my seat holding on for dear life..lol well i think it's great how God can work, one time i was on a plane headed to Oregon and i just happened to sit next to someone who was very comforting, i think she could tell that i was nervous, but in that way i think God did that for me. Next summer i am going to hawaii with family and when i'm on the plane i'm going to think of your story! Take care and God bless!

I don't mean to be a downer or anything because this is a great testimony and I'm glad I read it. I would not have if it wasn't in this forum. However, this is the Christian Advice forum.
To make it fit in the forum, I would say that this is advice to everyone not to be scared to fly. I've gone in a plane once (well there and then back) to Brazil for a missions trip. The flight didn't bother me at all because I knew God called me to go on that trip.
More advice... If God tells you to take a different flight or not to go at that time, LISTEN! heh. obviously the same goes for if He tells you to Go on a flight.
