Okay, I read the rules, and don't feel that I "deserve" a separate "Hi, I'm new" thread.

I'm 54, married 28 years, no children of our bodies, three boys we took in as teens now adult and "our kids" in an emotional but non-legal sense, raised Methodist, celebrating our 25th year of active in the Episcopal Church. I've been an active witness for Christ for four years on the Straight Dope message board and serve on the staff at the Pizza Parlor board. (I hope saying that without links is OK -- please edit it out if not!)

I subscribe 100% to the Creeds, but take a more "liberal" view of what our Christian calling is than do a lot of people. In posting I try to take a stance for what I think is right, without thereby condemning those who hold a different view as necessarily wrong. Different perspectives will lead to different conclusions.

Hello. I am 18, male and live in Perth WA. I just stumbled across this website looking for gardening tips of all things lol. I am a christian and am about to start bible college in Perth (Feb 2nd next year).
