  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My husband and I are going away for a much needed week holiday we are very grateful. My mum is looking after our one year old daughter so we could have a break and recharge. My mum is beautiful and will look after our little girl very well. She has never been away from us before but she knows my mum. Please pray she not be distressed or anxious or missing us but she is peaceful and I don't worry about her. Please pray she sleeps well too and not wake up distressed in a different environment.

Also please pray for my husband to not worry about his dogs mission and quest. Please pray they don't get up to mischief while we are away or barking. They bark a bit at the neighbours dogs and we really ask God he calms them so we don't have them bothering neighbours. Please pray our neighbor remembers to feed them too.

Could everyone please keep this in your prayers up till the 7th September.
