CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praying for your brother and you also your family. God has healed my mother 4 times of cancer lung and throat cancer. God does wondrous miricles, believe no matter what.

Yes, he does smoke a lot, but that's actually not what caused it. It was caused by the hard drugs he did for years when he was younger. He's been clean for a couple years now, but this has come back to haunt him. Now, he actually has to keep smoking bc if he stops his body goes into a panic attack and with the cancer it will kill him.

That's not a dumb suggestion at all, actually! It's a really good one. Unfortunately he won't be able to do that, because those cost money and he has no money. The way he gets cigarettes is just by asking strangers to give him some. But it was a good idea!

I have good news, everyone!!! I just talked to Alex, and he told me he went in last week to get a scan to see what was going on with the cancer. They did a blood test, and THE CANCER IS IN REMISSION!!!! They expect it to be gone in the next few months. They said there is no explanation for it. It really is a miracle!! Thank you so much everyone for all your prayers!!!!
