  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Praying hard for Kolton for his physical, emotional & spiritual healing, that he will find peace...

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
on earth as it as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day, our daily bread and
forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,and
blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us now, and
at the hour of our death.
Amen

Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, as is and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell,
lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins,
my Mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Praying for the repose of Jen's soul and Tim's soul. Also for the dear sisters' health and well-being (emotionally, physically and spiritually)and all their loved ones/caregivers. Prayers continue whether able to post or not.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. —John 14:27

Blessed are you, Lord our God, King of the Universe, Creator of heaven and earth. May the One who blessed our ancestors bless and heal Kolton, son of Tim and Jen of blessed memory. May the Holy Blessed One overflow with compassion upon him, to restore him, to heal him, to strengthen him, to enliven him. The One will send him, speedily, a complete healing -- healing of the soul and healing of the body -- along with all the ill, soon, speedily, without delay, and let us all say: Amen!

May the One who was a source of blessing for our ancestors, bring blessings of healing upon (insert names here), a healing of body and a healing of spirit. May those in whose care they are entrusted be gifted with wisdom and skill, and those who surround them be gifted with love and trust, openness and support in their care. And may they be healed along with all those who are in need. Blessed are You, Source of healing.

I wasn't aware of this family until I read this thread. How heartbreaking! I can only imagine how much pain they each have gone through.

Lord, please look after these children. Help the precious little girls to adjust to their new home, and bond with their adoptive parents. Please give their adoptive parents wisdom to raise them, and help them deal with the issues they will need to face as they grow older and learn more about their biological family. I also pray for Kolton. Please help him to heal physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. Please lead people into his life that can help him, and that he can trust. Heavenly Father, look over this family and keep them in Your care. Only You know what each of them need Lord, and I know you can provide all their needs. Keep them close to You Lord - Amen.

I will continue to pray for each member of this family, and for their families and friends who are also in so much pain. :prayer:

Kolton is supposed to be released from the hospital tomorrow and will be taken into custody at the Tom Green County Juvenile Dentention Center, where he'll stay until they clear him to go back to the boys ranch or wherever else they deem him fit to go. I personally think they should keep him in the hospital longer but since they determined there is no brain bleed (amazingly), they said there is no reason for him to be there anymore. It would be one thing if he was coming "home" where he could be in a comfortable place to continue healing, but how are they going to send him to a juvenile detention center in the condition he is?? His face and head are all busted up - broken bones and cuts and stitches. He's been a little unruly at the hospital and I feel like they just want to get him out of their hair. But now he's just going to be a target. He'll probably already be the smallest little guy there, and while his daddy obviously did teach him how to fight, he won't be able to defend himself in his current state. I surely hope they don't put him in with the general population there. And I hope they realize when he gets there that it's not where he belongs. But what happens from there? He still wants to kill people and hurt himself. So what needs to be done to make those feelings go away? Is there a safe place he can go? It looks like the State of Texas isn't going to give any of us the opportunity to make that choice, but it would be nice to at least get him to a place where he could be comfortable and loved. A 6-year-old in his state does not belong in a detention facility. It's sad
.

Praying that someone can come up with a solution for Kolton, so he can learn to relax and be loved again.
:sigh:
