CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks everyone for all the prayers. I've never felt sadder in my entire life than I do right now and my life hasn't been the easiest. But Tim and his family meant so much to me and everything that led up to Jen taking her life just makes me very upset. I feel so bad for the kids I just don't even know what to say. Is anyone else here going to the memorial thing at the end of the month? I get off this stupid boat in 12 days and my wife and daughter and me are gonna go. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Father God, may You reach the deep hurt within these children's heart and send the help You know is best. We cry out to You for these children. Grant them the peace that passeth all understanding and a future that will bring new hope and love and joy.
I continue to pray for all those who had a close friendship/relationship and daily contact with Jen (some from Christian Forum), heal their broken hearts, it must be twice as hard for them, because they lost a dear friend and have to cope with her sudden passing. Jehovah God Almighty, receive Jen into heavenly dwelling places and show her mercy in her pain and distress and her mental condition after losing her hubby Tim. Loving and merciful God, keep Your loving and caring hand on these three little children and give them people in their lives to truly love and nuture them. Help them find You and Your love and Truth and guide them into paths of love and healing and hope. I ask in Jesus Almighty and All Powerful Name. Amen.
