Lord, You alone are holy and we worship You and submit to your will. You are the Almighty and we know that all things are subject to your divine rule.
Lord, we thank You for our salvation and for the salvation of those yet to come, like this young baby. We thank You for the daily blessings You continue to give us, and for the care of your loving hand on this blessed woman during her pregnancy.
Lord, we come to You collectively, praying for our brother and sister that they would be at peace in this, most difficult, of trials. Lord, that You would be with them and comfort them, giving them rest and assurance that You are with them in this and that nothing happens apart from Your sovereign design and everlasting government.
Lord, please be with the child, as we know You are. We know that nothing is complicated for You but we are weak Lord and will often fear the worst.
Lord strengthen our faith in You, giving our brother and sister comfort, teaching us to rely on You for all that we need.
We humbly submit to your will Lord and ask only that you give our brother and his wife such faith that their peace will be in knowing that you are always in control.
We ask these things in the holy and blessed name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
