My co-worker Julie is having a hard family situation right now.
A couple weeks ago, her dad decided to give up, he stopped taking his medications, and quit eating, and subsequently slipped into a coma. His wife (Jackie) (Julie's step-mother) has suffered strokes and ended up in the hospital because Julie's Dad was not there to take care of her.
Jackie's children have never come to see her in the hospital throughout multiple strokes and major surgeries. But now, they have decided to move her to a nursing home far away and not allow her step-children (Julie and her family) to see her. She was moved to the new nursing home today and none of her children even came to be with her during the trip.
It seems as if Jackie's children are just doing this to be cruel, Julie's family has been there for Jackie for years, and they think of her as their mother.
Please pray that this situation is somehow resolved, that Julie is able to cope during this hard time, that Jackie realizes how much Julie's family loves her and that they want to be with her, that Julie's father recovers quickly.
This is a very sad situation, and it seems like God is the only one who can help now, so your prayers are very much appreciated!
