  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

About 2 months ago, my boyfriend broke up with me even though we both know God brought us together. There have been alot of ups and downs in the last 2 1/2 years we were together and he has alot of unforgiveness towards me. Well for the last couple of months I have prayed, posted prayer requests on tons of site and believe for a miraculous restoration of our relationship. One specific time I was praying and watching a Christian network, I felt compelled by God to pull out the only 2 items I had left of him, they were coozies, yes, he drinks at times. God told me to place those beer coozies in my couch, where earlier I had proclaimed it to be my threshing floor of prayer. Well, to make a long story short, earlier this week something happened and I became very bitter towards the whole thing. As soon as I got home, I took those coozies out of the couch and threw them away! The next day after I got home from work, he had brought some of my things over and a box full of memories I had given him back 2 months ago! In the box, was yet another coozie. His. He doesn't know why he put it there, but I do and so does God. Is that not amazing? At first I ignored the sign, but God brought it to my mind as soon as I woke up this morning, he said "Keep Praying". I just wanted to share that. Please pray for Bob and Lynette. Thanks.
Lynette
