They are saying we might possibly have severe storms tonight.

Well everyone, the Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service now has my area under a High Risk for severe weather. This is not good at all. We're also under a 30% probability for tornadoes which is very bad.

I just spotted this Public Severe Weather Outlook on the Storm Prediction Center's website:

This part is really scary:

The NWS Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is forecasting
the development of a few strong, long-track tornadoes over parts of
the Mid-Mississippi and Ohio Valleys into Michigan today through
early tonight.

The areas most likely to experience this activity include:

Illinois
Indiana
Northern and Western Kentucky
Lower Michigan
Ohio
Southeast Wisconsin

The most scary part is "strong, long-track tornadoes". Those are the same type that I believe hit my town in 1990. They are also the most dangerous type of tornadoes if I am thinking correctly.

AN AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
EASTWARD ACROSS WEST KENTUCKY THROUGH 9 OR 10 AM. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL AND WIND GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS
ACTIVITY.

A HIGH RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXISTS THIS AFTERNOON FOR
AREAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 64 FROM WAYNE COUNTY ILLINOIS EASTWARD
THROUGH GIBSON AND PIKE COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA. A MODERATE
RISK IS FORECAST FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA WEST OF THE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER...AND A SLIGHT RISK IS FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST

I was going to check the Storm Prediction Center's website but there site is very slow right now. I am assuming there is a high level of traffic to the site because of the forecast. Anyway, a post on Facebook said that the High Risk area has been expanded.

Well everyone, the TOR:CON (Tornado Condition Index) that The Weather Channel has has been raised to a 9 for Indiana. 9 is as high as the scale goes. It basically means there is a 90% chance of tornadoes within 50 miles of a given area.

Things are definitely not looking good. I have been praying and I know you all have been praying to. However, I don't know what is going to happen today. I might not be alive by the end of the day should a tornado come and sweep me away. Nevertheless, I am going to continue to pray and trust in God as best I can. I refuse to become despondent. I am going to stay alert and prayerful. That's all I can do.

They think a confirmed on the ground by spotters tornado that was half a mile wide went through Washington, Indiana. My best friend and another friend lives there.
