Please Pray for My Friend's Salvation

Greetings in the name of Jesus. My friend claims to be Christian, but last night, we had a little heated discussion. He keeps claiming that the environment is in danger (which I would agree with him on that). He says that we are polluting the atmosphere with our cars and by the energy we used. I keep questioning him on certain things, and he finally admitted that he believes that everyone that has a car is going to hell. I think the irony of this is that he also has a car. He says that he believes now that he is going to hell because he is one of the polluters that is hurting God's environment. But I believe that he has a view of Salvation that is not biblical.

Please let him know the hope of heaven, speak to him of the rapture, he should know your timing is perfect and that he can be saved from the wrath to come. In Jesus Name.

Well it is easy to get an idea (you never can know for sure) but you could ask this person. How does a person become a permanent born again child of God. If he/she answers anything besides belief in Jesus for Eternal Life, then they could actually be an unbeliever.
