  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

to me my Grandfather is a very special man...watching him with his walk with Christ strengthens me in mine when I get frustrated..my Grandfather has been serving the lord for most of his life and his fruits show his labor...however he has a heart problem and on Saturday suffered his 6th heart attack. I am not neccessarily ready to let my grandpa go, but I also do not want to selfishly stand in his way of being able to go home. Please pray for him and for my family to be able to deal with what ever comes..thank you

:( I understand exactly how you feel, BK - I don't think there are things much harder than having the strength to let go of someone you love - but (and I know you already know this, but I can't help but remind) know that here on earth will not be the last time you see him, and I can think of no greater joy than that when he gets to fall into his Savior's arms in heaven...

"The righteous pass away; the godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the godly who die will rest in PEACE." ~Isaiah 57:1-2

Dear Lord, please help this man who has suffered with his heart. If it's Your will, please heal him and give him more time with his family. If You mean to take him Home to be with You, then please give comfort to the family. Hold them in Your loving, merciful arms and let them feel Your peace. Thank you Lord. Amen.
