Please pray for my aunt

Please pray for my Aunt Nancy, she is the one I was going to visit this October. Well, she has had a heart attack, the doctor does not think it will be good for her to have any excitement, so, sadly, she asked me not to come. She had bad chest pains this past Monday, with all the other symptoms, her good friend took her to the ER, she was in the ICU for 2 days. She is now on nitro tablets, she goes to the cardiologist this Tuesday for more tests, then, they will probably admit her for surgery, the physician says she may have to have two surgeries. It does not sound good. I am very worried about her.


She thanks everyone for their prayers in advance. I will be calling her this Tuesday to see how the cardiologist visit went.

First, my aunt and I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Please continue.

Here is the latest update, I just hung up from talking to her. She is doing well. Her doctor visit was very promising. He said he is not too worried now about last week's episode, in fact, he said there is a slight chance that is was not a heart attack, but a very bad anxiety. I know that anxiety can cause those feelings, so, I am relieved to hear this as well. She goes to the hospital in Olympia this coming Monday for a nuclear stress test. He will be able to tell better if she indeed did have a heart attack, he said he will see her on July 2 to discuss the results, so, this tells me he actually does not expect bad results at all, or, he would have set up an earlier appointment.

She also asked me to keep our plane tickets, Phew, I am glad I did not cancel them, Steve told me not to until I talked to her today. She really does want the visit in October, so, I said that was wonderful, but to make sure, the ball is in her court. She sounds very pleased and is looking forward to it now that she is not so worried. The night that I had talked to her and she had said not to come, she had just gotten out of the hospital ICU and was pretty depressed. So, all is looking well. Oh, and this is awesome. She got her hair cut today, and she was telling her beautician all about the up-coming procedure and Praise the Lord, she said she would take the day off of work that day and take her and they could even have lunch together. Wow, I was shocked, so was Nancy. Jill, the beautician said that folks have been so good to her when she was going through Chemo treatment, so, she now wants to help others. Man, isn't that cool. I will see her when I go back for a haircut, Nancy says I will love how she does it.

As I said, please continue to pray. The Lord is with her and hearing our prayers, I am sure.

Have a read of my post on another thread here. The same applies to you. You are a believer in Christ. Mark 16 shows what believers can do. You don't have to ask God to heal your aunt, because it has already been provided. God is just waiting for you to step out in faith and "do" his Word and command the sickness to depart from her, just like Jesus did for sick people.
