My name's Lindsey,and I'm almost 15 years old. I've been a Christian for about 11 months now. And I'm doing great!! God has done some great things in my life, including using me to teach a class for the kids at my church. But there's this sin in my life that I'm having trouble with. One of my New Year's resolutions was to stop what I was doing, and I have so far. But it's only been 9 days into the New Year, and I'm really struggling. And it would help me a lot to know that someone was praying for me. And an encouraging word or two would really help me. Thank you so much. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You are doing REALLY good if you have allready have stoped...
But I will put you on my prayer list. I just said a prayer. I hope the Lord blesses your life. I am here for anyone that needs me! I hope you start doing better REAL soon. I know how you feel, I had a sin that was bothering me for a ling time, and prayer helped me alot. Now I have told my parents, and its out of the way. But I think that prayer will work. Please give Lindsey the strength to resist this sin. I believe the strength is already in her so please help her find it. Show her the love and let her know that even when she breaks down and commits a sin, that she is still love by you.
