I have to go through with a divorce I do not want. I am dying inside. God, please give me the day to day, moment by moment strength to handle this. You know the trials I have carried and then new ones to come. And I praise you on high for the times I truly knew that you were carrying me. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heavenly Father you know the length and depth of our hurt and pain , help her with the despare, lonelyness, anger, hurt and pain. Guide her to verses in your bible, speak to her through other christians, that she may feel your closeness as she loses his closeness.. Wrap your loving arms around her Lord and allow her to see just how much she is loved by you. Help her to understand that she is still a Christian woman worthy of praise and love from others but only when the time is right and when the person is right. Help her through this darkness to the light. Not my will be done Father but yours alone, in Jesus name we pray amen.

Lord God, I pray to You O God, that you would be with this woman, give her strength to know You are always there, and that Your love is higher than the heavens, and in the end, i pray that Your name be glorified.

Father God, I lift my sister up to You. I pray that in those moments when all seems so very overwhelming, Your Holy Spirit will come to her with soothing comfort and peace. We know that we can trust You to indeed carry us when we can no longer walk, I pray that You continue to do so for my sister. Please grant her courage, comfort and encourage her heart. I pray that You will fill her with Your hope for the future. Thank You LORD that You are always with us, in Jesus' name, amen.
