Hey everyone, I have a problem and it hurts me emotionally and spirtually. I have an obsession with porn. I can't seem to get enough. Which is wrong because I have a gf(Whom i've been dating for almost 2 years) and it would kill her to know that I do this. An I know it hurts god everytime I do this. An I want to stop but its hard. So if you guys/girls have any reccomeneded reading from the bible that would be great and prayers would be great too.

Speaking as a mother of a son who has struggled with this, I pray that you would find the courage to tell someone. (Not your gf) You need to bring this into the cleansing light of Jesus. When you do, it will have less power over you and you will allow someone to help you carry this burden and keep you accountable. I pray that God will point out to you, or bring someone into your life that you can trust with this. A good book to read may be "Every Young Man's Battle". Jesus wants you to be free of this and He is faithful - He will help you. Don't give up!!

Just know that you are NOT alone in this, and that God does hear you when you ask him to deliver you from it. Don't get yourself in the dumps about it...just keep talking to God, asking him to deliver you from this, and do the absolute best you can do. Your sins have already been forgiven, and if you do your best at working with God on it, you will win this battle! I know you will. Just trust in God!
