Please pray for David

I have a friend named David. He was taken to the hospital in an abulance from his house a few days ago. He is still in ICU. They believe it is liver and other organ problems, not quite sure. He isn't even 40 yrs old with 3 beautiful boys and a wife who love him very much. Please pray for a full recovery and the GOD gives he and his family some type of peace so they don't worry so much and that they have faith in the LORD. Thank you very much for your care and support. It is greatly appreciated.

I'll be praying. Know though that whatever happens with everyone praying for this situation to turn out well, will be what is best regardless of what we think. We are children and He is the Father. Have you ever seen a 3 year old try so hard to get something from under the sink to drink since he thinks it's good? The father pulls this away from him, and the child whines because he truly believed it was good. We have no idea what is good for us, so just remember that the Father may take things from us, and though we may not understand how it helps us, know that it does.

Note: I just lost my father on the 31st of December 2004, and I've dealt with it fine. It only hurt me for a few days before I was comforted in knowing he is free of that pained, hurting, sin-ridden body. I'm sure he'll live, but if he doesn't, know that God will step in and take over the role of the father to make up for him.

Lord, bless David and his family, with the healing and strength that they need to get through this. Thank you all for your dear prayers for David. He is home from rehab now and his children are very excited. They all have been attending a group called Allanon and learning a lot about this disease. They have much hope for there father. I was also told that his initial hospital visit was due to excessive drinking and he had took a whole bottle of Advil, they believe he was trying to end his life. I believe that the power and gift of God was set upon Davids heart and your prayers are what lifted him from this evil life of desruction. You are all genuinly appreciated from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you all richly, for you are all truly children of the Lord. I feel so blessed to be a part of this forum. It has changed my life dramaticly and I am very thankful for this blessing!

Jesus, I just want to pray for David, that you renew his life and give him new Meaning. Let him know that he is 'beloved of God', and that You desire him to be alive to teach his children about You, and to let them see You through him. I stand with David and his family, praying for their Peace, and Unity as one with eachother, and one with You. Lord, contend with those that contend with them. Hold this family together, and let them rip the devil apart for a change, for the rest of their lives, their childrens lives, and so on. Help them financially, help them with the Persistance they need to trudge through all the stuff they are going through... and let that build Character in them, that is like Yours... so everybody can see You through them. And let this family see and experience Your Love... because if they (and we) don't, how can we love others like You love us? We need to know how You Love us... so please Lord, let them see You someway in their lives everyday... and open their eyes more and more everyday to the Love that You have shown us on the Cross.
