HI ALL MEMBERS,This is not the best way to introduce myself but my life is in danger, Has anyone ever heard of a evil spirit that harass and phyisicaly hurts a person? this is my situation as of the last two years. I tried every thing possible.including asking Jesus to forgive me for all the sins i could remember and i forgave all the ones who hurt me etc.I need some help because it has been progressing every day. I am a reborn Christian,i have joined your site .i won't get to details now except in the beginning i chalanged this thing and called it names and made a fool of it many times which i should not have done in hind site. It never leaves,it hangs around me constantly all the time.I have tried every thing,this thing is mean and non-stop, it lets me know there is nothing i can do and no one can get rid of him,it seems to be about anger and lust.
I can not see it but feel it..Any help would be God sent .I am 53 years old ,very lodgeical,and very sane. I never new this could even happen.
ARE THERE OTHERS BEING HURT LIKE ME? p.s. this started one year after my divorce. does anyone know someone i could see in my area,Cambridge,Boston,massachusetts etc.I go to church every day and pray the rest of the day,it now hurts me real bad when i pray ,please someone help. Father God, We bring to your throne of grace our brother John. Lord you know what it is that has taken hold of him. Father we stand together in agreement and ask that you set him free Lord. Father help him to find the right people to minister to him and pray with him. Walk beside him Father and saturate him with your peace. I will uphaold you every day John - have faith that God will deliver you and set you free. Ignore these spirits and fix your mind on the word of God. Cover yourself everyday with the armour of God - here is a prayer for you to say each morning:

While praying for you I also think that seeing as though you were married and are now divorced you need to break your soul ties and also perhaps you have been cursed by someone!! Here's a prayer that you can also pray to help!!

This happened to my aunt but as she grew weaker by the spirit she ended up possesed but then she was recovered by my granparents praying and rebuking it. But remember jesus said that he has given us the gift to rebuke the demons in the name of the lord. and that you can move mountains with you're prayers and remember if you think that you are not doing something right in a prayer then that is satan figthing back. But all you got to do is rebuke it in the lords name pray and read the book but whenever you get the feeling of a taunting while you read then rebuke, becuase the word is the biggest thing that satan hates and that he is weak at.

While I do agree with this post I do want to say that sometimes it is nessacary for a person afflicted with a spirit to have someone else or even multiple people pray for delieverance. I have seen a group of five go in for a deliverance and stay in that room for a couple hours because this person has a spirit that would physically attack and had incredible strength. Not all situations require outside help; but some definetly do. Just a word of caution!

Please remember that while the world is big and certainly filled with things that we don't understand, demons are not something a Christian should fear. They have no power over your soul, that is owned by God. The only power they have to to scare you. So my advice, every time you are afraid, say "you have no power", and go find something else to do. Go out of the house, go shopping, see a friend, just don't dwell upon your fear. Ask God to help you and remove you fear, and to give you stength.

Hmm... I have hear of generational curses and this could be one of them. But honestly I cannot see you crying out for help, and Jesus turning his back. I have no doubt though that you have this constant surroundings of evil.
Have you ever been baptized? Or had your pastor pray over you?

If you have believed in God and accept that He has sent His Son Jesus into the world in the flesh to save you and all the rest of mankind from sins and have said this, confessing with your mouth, and you have asked God to make you born again of His Spirit, then the devil cannot hurt you or come inside of you. Ignore the devil and resist him and he will flee. Greater is He (God) that is in you than he (satan) who is in the world. If you can realize this and take your focus off whatever you think this aparition is, you will be at rest. However, if you are fascinated by this thing, it will stay. Some people are fascinated by evil even though they are fearful of it. I would say rebuke it in Jesus name and then ignore it like it didn't exist.

Romans 10:9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

1Jo 4:4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won your fight with these false prophets, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

jcsroom - Walk in the light... Really, you are under Spiritual battle. If you are truely a Christian, then there can be victory over this. First you must see Satan (this Spirit) for what it really is. Look at it through the eye of faith, in the light of Christ's victory. It's nothing more then defeated already and has NO power over you unless you allow it to. Satan is all smoking mirrors, his temptations are not real and powerless unless they stumble you. You need to stand on the promises of God and chose to no longer run and be hurt by this enemy. Stand on the power of Christ...
Look in the Bible at two poritions of Scripture. I'll give you the books, but Iwant you to find the places.. What the archangel said to Satan in Jude, and what Jesus said to Satan in Matthew. What weapons did they use (They used the Bible). Do the same.. Use God's word to combat this and you will win the victory.

You need to let go of the past and move forward to the furute in hope.. John, you can do this. You are stornger then the enemy.
