We've lost Aggie and can't find her. I've done everything I know that usually calls her from whatever hidey hole she's in...to no avail.

Mike's out driving around looking for her.

please pray that we find her asap. I can't bear to lose another part of the family this soon after losing Oscar.

Do you feed this cat wet or dry food? If it's wet food walk
around the backyard or nearby the house with a can opener. Click it as if you're opening a can. If it's dry
cat food, walk around the same areas while shaking the bag of food. She's been gone overnight and is
probably hungry. These sounds should bring her out of hiding.

Zec, we've done all that and no luck. We have both wet and dry food sitting out for her right now and I put a pile of catnip on the porch. I've rattled dishes (the sign that gooshy food is coming!) the food bags, everything I can think of. I even took Xander out on a leash hoping that he'd be a bit scared and cry to get in...maybe that would kick in the "locator cry" instinct. Nothing.

We're getting ready to head out and get supplies to make posters and leaflets. One of the ladies at Church works for the Shelter so I'll talk to her tomorrow and see if anyone dropped Aggie off. Shelter's closed now.

I'm so sorry you're going through this!

The encouraging thing is that cats are not like dogs, who get lost easily. It seems they can find their way home from just about anywhere. They seem to have some sort of built-in GPS. Maybe when she gets good and hungry, she'll turn up.

I'll keep praying for you and for her.

We got our supplies and some extra stinky catnip. Tomorrow I'm going to call our Nature Center and see if we can borrow a Hav-a-heart trap and I'll call around to shelters.

I'm putting up notices on Craigslist and Petfinder and I'll call the local shelters and vets on Monday.

I just put breakaway collars on Xander and Willow with their rabies tags and microchip tags. That's one thing I'm happy about, Aggie's been microchiped so, if she goes to a shelter or animal control, they SHOULD scan her. I'm just sorry I didn't put their collars on before this happened.

Just had a discussion with God telling Him how angry I am that He's not jumping to my will...even though I KNOW in my heart that He doesn't work that way. I confessed to Him and let it all out...tears and all.
