I had a dream last night that I was in a large airplane with a handful of people I did not know. This plane didn’t have any seats it was almost like a cargo plane. I sensed in my spirit something was wrong, I looked out the window only to see the right wing completely on fire. I looked around at the people and I said we need to pray!!! One lady looked back at me and said pray yourself I’m not doing that! I started praying out loud and told everyone this is the only thing that can help us. A thought crossed through my mind that the pilot may not be alive and I’m not sure why but it was like I knew he had maybe been shot? I kept praying at this point the whole plane was on fire and I was just hoping we would make it. Soon the plane crashed down but it came to a place where there were many people around outside. They were amazed to see that the passengers were alive. The plane was dark charcoal grey and looked like nothing more than a shell. I remember saying to people do you realize the only reason we are alive is because of Jesus. I woke up at that point.
Airplane – aircraft (or air craft) – craft – cunning, deceit, sneakiness, deviousness, underhandedness. Vehicle – mouthpiece, instrument, agent, messenger, like a prophet or a teacher or an organization. Air – declare, express, proclaim. So, this sounds like deceptive and cunning teaching by men in their deceitful scheming (See Ephesians 4). But, it is via a particular medium, like TV, social media, the internet or via the church (or the institutional church). Large could mean the mega church, or it could symbolize that this is very widespread, not just localized.
Handful – A few, not many. Hand – deeds, influence, indicator, involvement, participation. Full – largest, most, maximum. People – other human beings, crowd, group, public, citizens, assembly, church. So, a group of people or the church or the public or the world – you are unfamiliar with their largest influence or their deeds, i.e. you are not intimate with them, you are not participating with them or influenced by them. You are separate.
No seats – chair – no heads, leaders, i.e. the leaders are AWOL, spiritually speaking. This is definitely true of today’s church (overall) here in America.
Cargo plane – cargo – payload (pay load) – wage, burden, like the wages of sin is death (Rom. 3:23), or like the payment is bondage. Plane – aircraft (air craft), i.e. a message by messengers who are cunning and crafty in their deceitful scheming which results in death, not life everlasting.
For example the cheap grace gospel which teaches that God requires no repentance, no obedience and no submission to him or to his cross. And, so its adherents go on in their sinful lifestyles convinced they are going to heaven (via this aircraft) only to find out that the cheap grace is a deception of Satan to keep them trapped in their sins while promising them heaven when they die. It is the teaching of man, not of God, for it does not adhere to God’s commands (New Testament). True grace (Titus 2:11-14).
Right – righteous, holy, just, moral, pure, faithful, godly; can also mean east.
Wing – division, section, i.e. like the church in the east, for example, or like the true church (not the institutional church), yet the wing seems to be an extension of the air craft. Or, perhaps it is symbolic of something in close association with the plane, yet outside of it, not inside it, like the true church exists within the institutional church and the true church exists outside of the institutional church, too.
On fire – can be good, such as passion, fervor, i.e. on fire for the Lord. Or, it could be the church under fire, i.e. the persecuted church which is definitely outside the institutional church for it has come out and is separate from man-made religion and man-made teaching, which is why it is being persecuted, for it is following the Holy Spirit and not man.
“We need to pray.” You were discerning of the Spirit that this situation calls for prayer to God. We need the wisdom of God, and we need to be in prayer for the persecuted church, too.
One lady did not want to pray. Lady – church – worldly church which is following men and the flesh and not God, not looking to God for direction and godly wisdom, but looking to humans and to the flesh.
Pilot – the guide, the one giving direction and leadership to this craft may not be alive (he is spiritually dead, i.e. the spiritually dead are the ones flying this air craft).
Shot – the pilot may have been shot – inoculated – immune to the things of the Spirit of God – because he has had something introduced into his mind to protect him from the truth, i.e. he has been brainwashed into believing the cheap grace gospel and so it is like he has been immunized against the truth of the gospel, so he doesn’t have eyes to see or ears to hear.
The whole plane was on fire – the whole church under persecution? The whole church under the judgment of God? Because of the deception in the church and the false teaching and the flesh-driven gospel. I do believe this is coming to America.
Plane crashed – failure, collapse, breakdown, system failure, like in “crash and burn.” The institutional (man-made, market-driven, and flesh-driven) church, under the judgment of God, crashed and burned, i.e. it was taken down by Almighty God. But, the result was that the people inside lived, i.e. they were revived (saved spiritually).
I prayed about this, and I trusted the Lord would guide me in looking at these symbols. I am not saying that this is a perfect interpretation, but I do believe this is on the right track.
