My brother has been suicidal in the past. I had a dream, was kinda weird. From what I remember this audible voice speaks in my dream, your brother is suicidal.

I had a second prayer about a day later. From what I remember, it was basically about me to concentrate on my brother It's kinda weird.. like it just seems so clear. I use to get dreams like this frequently when I first became a believer.

I've spent quite alot of time in prayer. I use to visit my brother a bit. Anyways.. family issues. Grew up in an abusive home. My dad, basically use to beat my sister, and abusive towards my mum etc.

Anyways Please pray for my brother. His name is Jireh... he's about 19. PLEASE HELP. I couldn't bare losing him. Please pray for his salvation too.

Has Jireh show any signs of suicide ideation, such as saying aloud I wish I was dead or the world would be better off without me, or is this concern strictly coming from what you perceived in a dream? I believe in spiritual gifts, but not all dreams involve the Holy Spirit sending us a message.

I'll certainly pray for Jireh. Stay in touch with him; he needs you. When my sister was ill with cancer I had to stay in touch by phone because she was several states away. She ended up saying "I love you" to me. I don't recall her ever saying that before.

And I think I'll pray for you, too. I came from a family with so many issues myself. Don't be discouraged. Survivors like yourself are made to help others. I don't know where my younger sister Cathy is; it's heartbreaking.

No one is questioning you. Only asking if this is stated suicide or not.

The key point is that if your brother is having suicidal thoughts, prayer is necessary but may not be sufficient. I've worked with suicide hotlines before. I don't recommend hotlines without knowing a person is in trouble, which is why I asked.

The Lord does sometimes speak through dreams, definitely. Since there is a history of abuse in your family, my prayer is that all who have been hurt by your father will receive healing.

I pray that your brother will be given hope for the future and a life in Messiah.

May God strengthen Jireh against suicide and any form of self harm in Jesus name. May God have mercy.

Prayers for your brother and for you. I'd take the dreams as a call to prayer for him. I know you are already offering your support. Bless you.
