In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For my Birthday(This coming Saturday) my fiance bought me the two latest editions of "The Sims"!! (I'm completely addicted!)

So just now I was trying to install them; and I accidentally installed them in the wrong order!! So now every time I try to play my computer says "You have installed an additional expansion pack, please wait while we update the system." Then after about five minutes it says "InstallShield is having troubles closing, please restart your computer and try again!

I've done this 3 times!! I've also tried to uninstall the games; but the only way to make it work after that is to reinstall EVERYTHING!!!

Anyone have any ideas for me? Your help is MUCH appreciated!

Sorry, I've never played anything but stock Sims, but what I could suggest is going through and deleting everything (program folders if they're left). Then try reinstalling them in order. That's all I can think of :\
