please help me

last thursday my mom had to have biopsy of her lung.while they were doing the biopsy her lung collasped and started bleeding out..today her dr called me from hospital and told me mom has small cell cancer that is spreading fast and he gives her 4 months to live at the max..my mom isw only 66.......she has very few friends in this area and i am so scared for her..i dont know what to do or what to say to her..i moved in with her to take care of her so they wont put her in nursing home till the end..how do i handle this? im 47 and im scared..i love my mom and i dont want to lose her but i dont want to see her stay on earth and suffer..has anyone else been theu this that i can help me. thank you to everyone and please keep mom in your prayers for me......teresa

I'm so sorry to hear your mom is sick, I haven't experienced it with a parent, but my grandpa died of lung cancer in 1998. he was 66 as well. He went to the dr.'s thinking that he had an upper resp. infection, and it was cancer already in the 4th stage. My mom had a terrible time with it, as did us kids. It is very hard to watch someone go through this, I'm not going to lie. I just hope and pray that you and your mother have a good strong relationship with Christ so that he may give you His grace and peace. There is no easy way, only an easier way with the Lord by your side. He will see you through. I will pray for a miracle, and comfort for you and your family...........jlwmomof4

i lost my first husband to small cell cancer it is
the most aggressive form there is.
my best advise to you would be to talk to her
about everything, feelings,family,past memories,
funny stories, it will help her through as well as you
the time you will be spending with your mother
in the coming months will be with you forever
my fondest memory of that time was having an indoor picinic complete with a small homemade kite we tried to
fly it by the ceiling fan breeze lol it didnt work but we had the best time laughing and trying.what im trying to say is dont lose a minute no matter how trivial do it or say it. if you need any one to talk to pm me i will be praying for you
