By all means, please be honest with your mother. She loves you and wants you to confess your dishonesty towards her. Tell her the truth.

How could you do it? Good question! Ask God for help. Ask him to soften your mother's heart, so that she will be loving and compassionate when you confess, and so that she may forgive you. Ask him to give you the appropriate words and the appropriate time to speak. Do not worry: everything will go well!

I don't think you can delete threads. Just leave it this way.

By the way, you should not have edited that post, for two reasons: 1) when you edit a post, no-one is informed of it (I only got here now because someone liked my post — otherwise, I would never have come back here); and 2) it makes all those who have answered you (in this case, me) look like idiots, because it seems we (in this case, I) have posted in reply to a post which did not require a reply. The thread looks weird. Please do not do this again. Instead, just reply to the thread.
