You can differ if you like. But you don't have any evidence for your claim. If your mind thinks you are something you aren't that's a mental disorder. If your brain is certain you should have a body of a dog you wouldn't be questioning if it's a disorder or not. And you also wouldn't be supporting them fixing their bodies to look like a dog and removing their ability to talk in favor of inly barking. And you wouldn't be in favor of doing it to kids. But somehow carving up.a male or female to make them them the opposite sex seems to not be an issue. Including with kids.

But there are neutral encounters in our society (workplaces, schools) where saying that to a trans person would be considered hateful and bigoted. It is not your place, even as a Christian, to offer your diagnosis to a stranger.
I’m not offering a diagnosis. Just making an observation.

They made their choice. They have to live with it, I guess.

Well said.

How can a man know he has a female brain?

It’s just bizarre.

What if they regret it? What if it’s a fetish? What if it’s truly a mental illnesses?

There are so many unanswered questions.

Which I believe, our mutual friend, would [EDIT TO FIX THIS TYPO] never do, as he has assured us many times.

What if they regret it?
I’ve had a few regrets but nothing so much as I would have had I had drugs & surgeries to achieve the body that I thought I wanted and found out differently, later…maybe that accounts for the remarkably low rate of post-op transgender regrets.
What if it’s a fetish?
A fetish is a sexual affectation, not an immutable part of one’s being.
I’m pretty sure fetishists would be sorted out of the process, rather early on.

What if it’s truly a mental illnesses?
That cannot be treated with more than a mirror & tissues?
There are so many unanswered questions.
“Why am I like this?” is probably one that most transgender people ask themselves a lot, they don’t need our “help”, piling on.

They do not believe that they are the person you think them to be, isn’t their “problem” though.

I’ve met trans people, I was never once rude or demeaning to them.

Your opinion of what ails them is neither useful nor wanted by them. I think that was the point.
Well that's typical of all of us isn't it? If I wanted your opinion I would have asked for it. But rhats doesn't stop any of us from giving one anyway.

And much of this isn't opinion anyway. It's scientific facts. Scientific facts are not opinions. They are just....facts.

The facts are three fold.

1. It's a fetish, autogynaphelia.
2. It's a disorder.
3. It's a faulty self diagnosis reaction to other mental health issue.

Those are the only choices involving someone who wants to be the opposite sex.

And all of these cna be treated with psychological therapy. And in the case of childrwn thwre should be NO OTHER alternative. There is no scientific reliable evidence that anything else is necessary for children or adults. However as adults one is typically free to screw oneself up as much as one wants.

And the rest of us should be free as well to not be required to participate in such endeavors by affirming others fetishes or mental health issues.

Nobody is arguing it’s a disorder, which is why people get treated for it.

The rest is just nonsense. You can’t complain it’s self diagnosed but then complain about doctor's treatment for it. Either it’s self diagnosed, which means there are no doctors involved, or it’s diagnosed by a doctor which makes your self-diagnosis complaint invalid.

Literally the gender anybody represents themselves as has zero impact on you.

It does have an impact on women and girls who don’t want to share a restroom or locker room with a biological male.

I have a young niece. I don’t want MEN or BOYS in the same restroom as her just because they say they identify as women.

Their so called gender identity does not trump the rights of girls and women.

That’s just how I see it.

Again, the presence of a penis has zero impact on women in the restroom or locker room. In a bathroom, you’re in a stall, you see nothing, so the person next to you could have six penises and you wouldn’t know.

I have a young niece. I don’t want MEN or BOYS in the same restroom as her just because they say they identify as women.
In a bathroom, they won’t know and neither will you. In a locker room, use the unisex or private room to change and, voila, problem solved.

Women and girls are not so fragile that a penis will terrify them, ruin their innocence, or traumatize them. Changing in a locker room is a decided asexual action.
Their so called gender identity does not trump the rights of girls and women.

That’s just how I see it.
Women and girls don’t have a right to exclude people because they have a body part they don’t want to see, especially when the easy solution is to just do what one should be doing in a locker room anyway… Minding one’s own business.

I completely disagree.

Men regardless of their gender identity should at least be respectful of women and not use their private spaces.

Some women don’t want to see male parts.

If they truly minded their own business, they wouldn’t be using a woman only spaces to begin with because…wait for it..,.they’re men.

It's not a complaint. It's a fact. Not everyone who claims to be trans has gone to a doctor and received a diagnosis for it.
Either it’s self diagnosed, which means there are no doctors involved, or it’s diagnosed by a doctor which makes your self-diagnosis complaint invalid.
See, people can and do self diagnose. A fact.
And Affirmative Care does not diagnose anyone. It affirms what the patient already believes.
Literally the gender anybody represents themselves as has zero impact on you.
I wish that were true. But your statement is demonstrably false.

Women beg to differ. It's called the right to privacy. It's interesting that you think that women have no right to their own feelings and opinions on the matter.
In a bathroom, they won’t know and neither will you.
Sure they will when they see a man walk into the bathroom.
Women and girls are not so fragile that a penis will terrify them, ruin their innocence, or traumatize them.
And you know this how? Women now now have no right to choose whether they see a dude naked or whether a dude sees them naked? How sexist of you.

You sound like one those who thinks they ought to be able to run around nude if they wish.

Changing in a locker room is a decided asexual action.
Glad you get to decide that for everyone.
Of course they do. What on earth makes you think they don't?

Speaking of minding ones own business you seem to desire very much to get into the business of what women should think, and feel and want.
