I gotta be honest, I think my schizophrenia medicine helps me, but there were times when I still did pretty bad on it.
Also, to open a can of worms, there's also the chance it doesn't help me at all, and here is how: I would receive treatments every time I believed something illogical. But what I believed wasn't always illogical, sometimes it had logic, but I wasn't a fantastic "reasoner" at the time. I stopped believing everything the psychiatrist considered illogical, for fear of getting more treatments. So perhaps what really helped me is not the medicine but myself shutting things in?
