  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

<TD vAlign=top>Parents-- I have a question.

We have acquired a cat from my brother who can't keep it right now. My children have named the rodent Princess Spaz. I'm not fond of cats.

Anyway, yesterday I noticed that some photographs of my daughter were scratched up. They were sitting on the kitchen table. These were photos I had planned on giving away to grandparents..etc... anyway I confronted my daughters on this and they blamed it on the cat. My daughters are 3 and 4.

I am tempted to believe them. Am I being gullible?

That might be possible is if the cat was lying on the table, his paws happened to be on top of the photos (and they didn't slide away), and he was "kneading" with his claws, making little scratches (again, without the photos slipping away).

And I suppose it might be possible that the cat played with them, roughly, without losing them or making them fall on the floor.

Or he just sat there with an evil grin on his face and held the photos with one paw and scratched them all up with the other paw.;)
