I also am very concerned with this soteriology because I've hard persons say that they can do what they want and still be saved. They can be as mean as anyone on these threads and yet proclaim that they cannot become lost again. One person on this very site has stated that he could blaspheme the Holy Spirit and still be saved.

I believe that your belief system may cause some to have a false sense of security and God is an eternal God and does not change. He is loving but also just.

So let me ask you this:
Can an unclean person enter into heaven?
Would you say that those persons I've described above are saved?

I teach how the blood of Jesus saves us and keeps us and the New Covenant of Christ's blood includes how God succeeds in us to have us doing all He means by His word.

God saves a person, plus God succeeds in doing all His word means with every child of God. And this includes how Hebrews 12:4-14 guarantees that every child of God gets our Father's correction >

"But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons." (Hebrews 12:8)

So, no a person is not guaranteed salvation if the person is going on in evil and not being corrected by God. Because God's success in correcting us is included in the New Covenant of Jesus Christ's shed blood > Hebrews 12:4-14.

Therefore, part of why we can't lose our salvation is how we are guaranteed how God is able to correct each of us! . . . so we share with Him in His holiness . . . "without which no one will see the Lord." (in Hebrews 12:14)

I've hard persons say that they can do what they want and still be saved. They can be as mean as anyone on these threads and yet proclaim that they cannot become lost again.

I suppose any of us might at times do what we want, but God corrects His children > Hebrews 12:4-14. Our doing what we want, then, will not continue. And I find that as God changes us in our character, what we want changes . . . very well.

In my case, I would say I have experienced how we can share with God in His love; so . . . when I even start to get into stupid stuff, I get homesick very quickly to be back with God in His love and sharing with my Jesus family people.

So, I would say > you can't lose it, but you can't keep doing what is wrong if you have it; because our Father will correct our character so we become unable to keep on in what is wrong, if we are children of God.

Here's what I don't understand. For the sake of argument, let's say you're correct. It's by the blood, by grace alone. Is the one who believes and teaches works righteousness not saved because of what they believe/teach? According to your position, what they believe/teach may be in error, but it has no effecaciousness towards or against salvation. In other words, they may very well be saved, in spite of their error.

So, why does it really matter if they're wrong? Is the wrong teaching going to somehow overcome sovereign grace? I'm confused. Are people saved by grace or by believing in grace, i.e. the correct teaching? It seems half-hearted to proclaim grace alone and yet castigate those in error as if such a state could nullify grace. Does that make sense?

This is a guarantee. So, I understand this means God will manage things so we get the correction we need. We will not just die by chance before God does His will with us, since God is in control.

That would be a problem Satan would have, but we in Jesus have our Father who does not plan something and it never happens.

"Known to God from eternity are all His works." (Acts 15:18)

This is if we are talking about God "who works all things according to the counsel of His own will." (in Ephesians 1:11)

By the way, with each of God's children, this chastening is ongoing, not at only certain times. But He is changing our character . . . not just hitting us at times for doing something wrong. Punishing is not correcting, is it? And painful actions do not really change a person's character to become God's way > but we need how God richly abundantly creates excellence in us, changing us to be and to love like Christ, while we minister this to one another > Ephesians 4:15. But there are abusive human fathers who suppose that correction means smacking a kid, at times.

But our Father is constantly being attentive with us, transforming our character so we are maturing in how Jesus is and loves. Correct means how Jesus is. Correction, then, changes our character so we share with Jesus who is growing in us as our new inner Person > Galatians 4:19.

So, this is not how Satan does with his counterfeit correction . . . procrastinating until next week, even!! . . . and threatening > Jesus, "when He suffered, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously." (in 1 Peter 2:23) God does not only threaten us with punishment and dying, but He succeeds in us >

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13)

So, then, by the way > this is not about how humans work and try and struggle, but how God works.

Paul goes on to say that we have died with Christ so that we have been raised from the dead and we too might walk in the newness of life.

Paul says our body of sin might be done away with..verse 6...and that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

Verse 8...if we have died with Christ we shall also live with Him....can sin live with Christ?

Verse 16...we are slaves to the one to whom we present ourselves...either of sin resulting in death..or of obedience resulting in righteousness.

You do no one a favor by making it sound as if we could still live a life of sin and still be saved.

Paul DOES NOT teach that we could still sin and still be saved.

You take ONE WORD "never" and make a doctrine out of it. This is no proper hemeneutics...you must take ALL of scripture into account.

Revelation 3:20 Jesus says:

Yes.

And so, this person is not going to hell, no matter how they scream that you can "lose your salvation" from their self righteous mountaintop.
But, their teaching is "cursed of God", and they are under this curse, yet, being saved.

And why is this for them a curse, ? Its because they are teaching AGAINST the very same Grace that saved them... The blood of Christ.
And more so, this one teaching, not only rejects the Grace of God but it has the capacity to destroy a baby Christian for life....As it can lead them to no longer believe that the are "saved by Grace thru Faith", but instead they have to try to live holy or they will lose their salvation.
That's what this damnable teaching does to new Christians. It harms them for life.
So, God curses you for cursing them.....
You REAP what you SOW if you are that person, doing that....

How do you do this? Galatians 1:8 and a Jude 1 ?

All you have to do is teach that you can lose your salvation.
Just teach that, once to someone, or on a forum in public....and you are under the curse as defined as Galatians 1:8
