The first next generation i watched,
Pickar surrendered the Enterprise.
-----GAME OVER----------

Never watched again.
It took 20 years for Kirk to surrender the ship.

Tell me who is better?

My vote would be for Picard. The...way.....Kirk......speaks.....drives......me....crazy.

We are all....
vulnerable, to attack, but I won't.......
surrender today.

Scotty, your......Fired.(hit em with yur PR24....oops thats T.J.Hooker. sorry)

Sexy doesn't save the universe, sweetie.:p

In whose universe? The ST:NG series?

Yeah, but suave, sophisticated intelligence does.:p
Extremely high diplomatic skills and intelligence does win over fist-in-the-face brawn!!
Pull out a gun and the other team might try to get a bigger one!

Piccard was sexier.

Let's do the math (not really but let's call it that lol for you logical Data lovers).

That's because he is highly intelligent and diplomatic and he's got style! He is cultured and sophisticated. And the French accent not only helps his appeal and helps him to appear more intelligent (which he is), but the two go hand-in-hand.

If Piccard surrenders the Enterprise on a mission, it is because that is his tactic. Fighting back when you're supposed to surrender and when you absolutely have to surrender will only get you and the shipmates killed. And Piccard still made it in one piece and they still have the ship in all the reruns. Just show me where they never ever got the ship back when it was in jeopardy.

Kirk is good, but Piccard is better.
Kirk is good, but I much prefer Piccard's style of intellectualism with his action over the simplicity of kill or be killed.

And let's not forget Kirk who "got caught with his britches down" when he got blasted by Khan with his shields DOWN...then surrendered.

Well, I like Patrick Stewart better than William Shatner, but as far as captains go it has to be Kirk. If the world was in danger, Kirk always found a way to win and he would. Picard would talk about it too long and nothing would get done. Kirk may have gone off half cocked all the time, but if I had to put the fate of the world in anyone's hands, I think he would handle it best.
