I dont know if any of you use photoshop, but I do graphics for my church slides

I was looking at the demo of Photoshop CS, and did you know it wont let you scann the new $20 bills

They are now watching what you work with, and if they decide, they wont let you edit your files

What do you think about this ?

Photoshop CS is awesome. Get a picture of the new dollar bill. Why do you need to scan it. There are tons of pictures out there on the internet.

where can you dl'd photo shop? i have looked for so long but can only get it through bit torrent.....and i hate bit torrent.

i know what i am doing, i can get it to work, my friend has it, you just need a key maker...its very simple.

i just dont want to have to use bit torrent to dl'd it.

go to downloads.com and get the demo version. See if you like it, if so, buy it.

but rember according to there EULA, if you dont like it, you cant give it away without giving away your Old versions also.

Then you definitely won't get it to work. Because like someone already said, there is an activation that you will need to do before using CS. And a keymaker won't work. Besides, you're 14 have mommy and daddy buy it for you.

A really good free alternative to Photoshop is GIMP. I've used the Linux version and its pretty good. They also make a windows version. Its at gimp.org.

GIMP is nice, but unless you've been using other GNOME related software, the interface is a bit....open-sourced-feel. Also, GIMP does lack some of the more advanced features from PS. Not to mention the plug-ins.

How is photoshop watching what you do? They cant according to privacy laws and if you dont like them watching you just disconnect your internet while you work.

Eh, the number of pirated Windows XP out there shows just how effective product activation really is...

If EULAs are really enforceable, then yes, they can force you to agree to spying on you (basically sending the name and registration number you used) before you install the program.

Supposedly removing or renaming a couple files fixes that problem though. I've also heard that this whole thing is a hoax, but I've also heard otherwise. *shrug*
