CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Depends where I am.
Right now, and a majority of the time when I'm on here, I'm at work. Where I have a lovely T3 connection to a brand new (slightly buggy) ethernet network.
My weekends and some early morning hours are at home, where it's a dial-up, but it's not too bad. Much better then where I was living before.

i got high speed phone line BUT there chargin me 10 bucks ( on top of the 40 bucks a month! its stupid! so were gonna switch to cable soon =D yay! more money my parents put in my collage account! =D! lol) for downloads and uploads ( uploads is when soemone downloads from u... jkust iin case some ppl dont kno what it is... it took me a month to figure wut a upload is lol) ne ways i was toired ( kim u woke me up grrrrrr!) now im listin to music and im getting energy! weird but thats ok! ne ways bye and God Bless!

Dialup connection. . .old-fashioned, but it's the best-NO ONE can hack your computer unless you are online at the same time they are, so you don't have to spend a ton of money on firewalls and such.

We have cable with a netgear router so I can hook up all the comps online at once, plus the router has a built in firewall so thats nice also.
