Phobia Club?

I have 3 major fears:


1. Acrophobia: Fear of heights.
2. Achluophobia: Fear of darkness.
3. Sesquippedaliophobia: Fear of long words.


Ok, so the last one isn't serious, but the other two are. I'm scared to death of heights, probably because I fell off the bunk bed a lot when I was a kid. I'm scared of the dark, mainly because there was one night I was out walking the dog and almost got hit by a car. The fear of long words is one I would try to use in school to get out of taking vocabulary tests. My English teacher got a kick out of it.

I'm also scared of someone finding my journal and reading it. If that were to ever happen then my life would be ruined...

I have a fear of being ignored and or forgotten. (Athazagoraphobia)
Fear of some kind of sexual abuse by some guy (Contreltophobia) even though I never been abused...
Fear of Coitus and sexual intercourse even though I have had struggles with "m"...(Coitophobia)
the opposite sex's private parts

I have a phobia of Bad thunder and lightening storms. When it comes to bad storms with lightening and thunder I am like I am a little kid.

I am terrified of escalators (the step kind) and being trapped under water, like under ice.

I have a phobia towards bees, wasps, hornets. I guess cuz I,m allergic to them.

Mine is worms. I can't even look at a picture of a worm, it's so bad. I can't shuck corn because of it, and I have a panic attack if they are in any old food like flour or something. I've actually cried when I've seen them in food. BROTHER! (I get mad at myself when that happens. I'm a 40 yr. old woman after all!) The really bad thing was that I went to college at Oregon State where it rains ALOT. Of course when it would rain, all the worms would come out of the ground onto the paved walkways. Would you believe I actually would take long walks out of the way to get to classes so that I wouldn't have to go on the worst of the walkways! CRAZY! Once, when I was in 6th grade some bratty boy in my class found out about my worm phobia and put one on my desk. One of the meanest things ever done to me in childhood!

i fear of animal... all animals.... when i saw they came near me esp cat n dog i will run or scream... haha... i try to overcome it now but still fail

I'm sort of afraid of spiders but it's really not that bad what i'm really afraid of is performing in front of people. I just have this horrible stage fright and i don't know why the weird thing is i never had that much of a problem with it until i moved form NY to Maryland. I was nervous having to be in front of people for Baptism. I just dont understand it.

I'm slowly but surley geting over my stage fright. My sister has an interesting one thoguh, she is extremely afraid of birds.

I agoraphobic I cannot be alone in an open space and I freak out if I see a picture of a cockroach or even step on leaves or something that crunches. I had a panic atack once when I was on my Cross country team and I got seperated.

The Twilight Zone episode called "Living Doll', about the doll called "Talky Tina", Hi,I'm Talky Tina and you better be nice to me. She killed Telly Salvalas who played the little girl's stepfather and the little girl was afraid of her too.

that and chucky are the reason im afraid of Dolls. and there was another Twilight Zone where this ventriloquist's(sp?) dummy switched bodies with him. . .*shudders*
butim claustrophobic, and more than anything, afraid of sirens(like ambulance sirens)
