Dance of the Vampires was written by Jim Steinman, who as a songwriter wrote many of the hits that made MeatLoaf and Bonnie Tyler famous. His music is rock that borders the operatic. His over-the-top style has made him one of the most ideosyncratic composers of the rock era. If you ever hear songs like TWO OUT OF THREE AIN'T BAD, TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART, IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW, and I'D DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE, you have heard Steinman at his finest.Kilted Stranger said:what did he do in Dance of the Vampires?? was he just not very good??
