  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Petra is a good group.

I have every CD from This Means War right up to Jekyll and Hyde. I don't care for old Petra at all though (the production sounds too weak for my taste.) I think On Fire was where we really started hearing crisp, clear, in your face production. This would be thanks to the Elefante brothers, who always boasted professional production work.

John Schlitt is the man.

Standout CD's for me are On Fire, Beyond Belief, Sight Unseen, Jekyll And Hyde and Wake Up Call.

Favourite songs? All Fired Up, I Am On The Rock, Beyond Belief, Get On Your Knees And Fight and Dance.

Beyond Belief was just the peak CD for these guys. Unmatched by anything they put out prior or since.

Eternal, I like the way you think!

I'd add "Fool's Gold" to my favourite songs, actually that's a the top of my list. I have an autographed photo from the last show I saw, with a line from that song handwritten by Bob Hartman. "I'd rather be a fool in the eyes of man, than a fool in the eyes of God."

And Sight Unseen is the song, Unseen Power is the cd.
