Pet peeves

OK. The point of this thread is to list all of our pet peeves. You can list one or you can list a million, it doesn't matter. And you can always come back and post more if you want.

I'll start.

• Teachers who can't teach
• Those people on the bus or train who keep talking to you even though you obviously don't want to talk to them. Actually, just these people in general
• People who think they know me when they don't.
• People who think they can recommend movies/books/songs to me despite the fact our tastes are totally different.
• People with stupid questions--to quote from one, "Did you come out of your mother?"

Hahaha a great opportunity to vent.

1) music exam results.....criticising for interpretation, it's my opinion, you can't say it's wrong.
2) hypocrites
3) people who don't respect themselves
4) judging without knowledge

-When someone says "oh I like really epic movies, like Lord of the Rings," when they've never seen Lord of the Rings.
-When people stand really close to me (I have a large personal bubble)
-When people put their feet by me. I don't like feet very much.
-When adults are distracting at church..I know a few young adults who like to draw pictures and whisper to each other during church. It's kind of ironic.

oooh im not fond of feet either. I mean im all for people walking around barefoot, as long as their feet dont stink, but dont put them by me.
and i know this is cliche, but people who leave the cap off the toothpaste really bug me.

Ooo, yeah. I actually support going around barefoot because, according to the research I've done and I could be wrong, it's good for you.
I just thought of another one: when people don't put the karts back at the store! I hate seeing them around in the parking lot or propped up on the curb.

-When the phone rings 8,000 times while I'm laying down, trying to listen to a record
-College guys who are still mentally stuck in middle school
-Children that constantly disobey their parents
-Men that have no respect for women, and women that do not have respect for men

7. Girls who only talk to me so I can be their boyfriend and then ignore me when I say I'm not interested.

True; but I always seem to land next to someone who is not pleased with whatever I decide to do. So this seemed the lesser of a couple of evils; well when I have some time I'll make the list in its completeness.

1.) Shallow people.
2.) Shallow people.
3.) Shallow people.
4.) Shallow people.

9.) Mainstream music.
10.) People who care too much about sports.
11.) Immaturity.
12.) People who treat art as if it's a low level of society or humanity.
13.) People who don't put effort into grammar when they type.
14.) Bar chords on the guitar. Seriously, I don't know how people can handle those.
15.) School.
16.) Following society.
17.) Society in general.
18.) Unjustified anger.
19.) Christians who think they know it all because, let's face it, you don't know anything... And I don't understand how anyone could remain a Christian once they begin to realize the truth behind a lot of the traditions.
20.) Junk food.
21.) Shallow teenage relationships.
22.) Cities.
23.) Parties.

The list could go on for awhile.

• I hate it when people desperately try to prove to me they are insane when it is obvious they are not.
• I hate it when musicians are too proud to get loose and praise God instead of perching on the stage trying to prevent their hair from falling out of place.

• When people tell me their opinion as if it is law without acknowledging mine.

• When people assume I’m dumb because I haven’t had the same educational opportunities as they have had.
• When people put themselves down for something that I also do. Like if someone who can run faster than me says that they are slow.

• I hate it when guys use girls
• I hate it when girls can’t see they are being used
• When someone who is clumsy takes offense when I don’t trust them to keep my valuables.
• When people hate on the music I like simply because it is loud
• When people want to show me something and expect the fullness of my attention but don’t give me the time of day.
• When my Dad tries to control my appearance
• I hate being commanded around by a younger person
• When someone can’t take what they are doing seriously.
• When people make me feel bad for having brown stains on my teeth; which I can’t control because it was a direct result of taking powerful medicine as kid because the doctor made a bad call.
• When people won’t accept me because I’m not wearing what they are; when they don’t seem to see the heart behind the shirt.

I just remembered this post today, because i'm quite angry at the moment....i know that God said to be slow to anger and to not go to sleep while still being angry
But this really bugs me....

Rich people.....famous rich people....

They have SO much money!! And the can change the world if they spent it on others!
I know i may start sounding like a hypocrite (because I do live in relative luxury but let me continue)
I don't have a million dollars, not even close to that, let alone a billion dollars

I can accept that people are greedy, people are selfish and uncaring (i myself am guilty of this)
But HOW CAN YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT knowing that you have a few millions dollars to spare that would SAVE thousands upon thousands of lives!!

Oprah. She has over 1.5 BILLION dollars. She only donates a few million dollars each year....that is not even 1% of her total wealth, not even 0.1....it's 0.06%
SHE accepted DONATIONS to her foundation....she ammased over 80 million dollars from the general public (who were more generous than her, percentage wise) in the last 15 years.
How can you do that??
If she just gave 50% of her wealth she could feed a whole nation!

George Harrison. He preached against the Material world, claimed to be spiritually enlightened and critisizzed the Pope and Catholism many times.
He did this while massing up over 200 million dollars, and living in his mansion at Friar Park.
He couldn't even dip into his own pocket deep enough to help Bangladesh in the 1970s, instead held a concert so the public would pay.
And again, he has his 'George Harrison Foundation'....now why on Earth do you need a foundation? Why do you need the public to make donations when you can just pay it yourself! You have hundreds of millions of dollars!
Oh and I heard that in 2007, the George Harrison foundation donated $450,000....wooopie doo. That considering that there's still 200 MILLION just sitting in the bank

WHAT IS THE POINT OF RICH PEOPLE HAVING FOUNDATIONS!

ONLY poor people should have foundations, rich people should become poor!

Mcdonalds. They have little donation boxes at every counter, they are so cheap that they even want thier customers to support thier charities. Common, McDonalds are worth 24 Billion dollars, they don't care, they want to 'look good' but not spend thier own money!!

John Lennon sang in his song "imagine a world with no religion"
I say to him imagine a world where rich people like him would walk the walk and not just talk the talk!
Coz money counts as 'possesions'

I need to clarify, that it is a good thing that money is being donated to charity....rich people do donate a large sum of money, but percentage wise....poor people donate more percentage wise and rich people should step up!

I have respect for Bill Gates saying that he aims to give away 99% of his money....go for it Bill!
