  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

when your son's friend's mom invites him over then 30 minutes later says she's taking her kids somewhere else, and do i want to come....but i'm cooking dinner, and she doesn't have room in her car to bring her kids and mine (which i wouldn't let them go anyway), so she brings my kids back home, and then says to me in front of my kids, "aw come on mom, it's the weekend!" WHAT! she was undermining my parenting, and in front of my kids! the nerve!
I thought that was rude and insensitive....and my son Stephen (4) had a very hard time with it, and cried hysterically!

I agree, that was very rude.

OK, I work in a grocery store, and I have a couple major peeves. #1. When people come through the line, get their basket partially unloaded, then say, Oh, I forgot something, and I have already started on their order. Then they dissappear for like 10 minutes, and come back with an armload of stuff!! #2, when people come in after the office is closed, and expect refunds and exchanges. I mean, like, can you do that at Walmart??? I don't think so!!:mad:

When people want you to help them and even though you said you would after you finished doing something, they still come over and want you to help them NOW!! Mothers

p.s. If you see me acting like my mother...slap me, slap me hard! (I tell my daughters this)

Sounds like this woman last night, who disagreed with the English muffin prices. She kept trying to jump back into my line for me to refund her the price of the muiffins (she thought they were Buy one get one free, they weren't) I had no intention of waiting on her until all my 'paying' customers were finished. now, I really don't have a way of 'legitimit refunding' after the office is closed, but there is a way to do it. I just don't like to. I told her next time, she needed to come back when the office was open at 8 am.

Actually Renee, Wal Mart is really great about refunds and exchanges. No hassle to the customer at all. And they're always open. :)

Even after Customer Service has closed and dropped the cash?

Have you never shopped there? :D When they're open, they're open. :D

I'm not usually there late at night. I know that at Kroger, we have to drop the cash from the main registers, and close out the day by 10 pm. Anything after that goes on the next days totals. And it's usually just one cashier after 10 pm.
