A friend was so annoyed at this one guy who kept doing this to him, he sent him a email telling him off, neadless to say he's now banned from ebay.

I agree, I also feel that any time we are talking about God, we should use a capital letter; like even when we write He or Thee. A lot of Bibles don't do that. Also, I refuse to use a capital letter when speaking of satan.

1. people who tell me my way of spelling my name is incorrect, then proceed to show me how it should be done.
2. people who butcher the english language generally, and linguists who say "it's all good. anything goes"

3. people who insult my voice "it must be why you didn't get that position. i mean, the first time i heard it i was like *gasp* that cannot be her voice" - my high school guidance councillor of all people said that. weird cause i'll get compliments from strangers after a speech.
4. people telling me to speak UP. i've a quiet voice and if i can reach out and touch you, there's no reason why i should have to project. esp. marketers and secretaries over the phone - you want MY business, so stop insulting me and turn up your sound. sheesh.

5. people who think truth is relative.

6. when you really need you answering machine to work (looking for a job) but it doesn't - phone constantly blinking to indicate a message, but everytime i check NOTHING. then getting phone calls complaining that i haven't returned a message.

I agree with that first one. My name is Kathie, most often it is either spelled Kathy or Cathy. So, not only do people who have known me for years continue to misspell it, some of them make cracks about me having a made up name. That is the way my parents spelled it 58 years ago, and I like the way it's spelled.

I agree. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been hanging out with friends, and people come up and say something. Or as they walk by, they snicker and whisper loudly.
