'Personality v Looks'.......in your man!

I agree with InTheFlame and tinkerbell... for me, attraction is all about personality! My friends could never understand how I couldn't describe what I found attractive in a guy (other than personality) but that is what I find attractive! When I met my bf, I liked him right away, cuz he has such a great personality He is not necessarily "hot" by commercial standards, but to me he is the most attractive guy I've ever met

It's the looks that usually first attract two people to each other, but in the end it's the personality that will make you stay together. That's how it was with my boyfriend. I was first attracted to the way he looked because he is very good looking and I had never talked to him before either. But as I got to know him, it was his personality that attracted me even more to him. Although he is very good looking, we wouldn't be together if he had a bad personality or vice versa. I can promise you that. When I say he is wonderful, I mean it's everything(personality, morals, beliefs, looks, etc.) that makes him wonderful and attractive.

It's just this feeling you get when you are around them, the way they look at you...their gestures and the way their voice sounds. Physical attributes are somewhat important, I admit it, but a guy doesn't need to be the world's standard of a "hottie" for me to be attracted to him. There are certain physical attributes I'm more attracted to than others, of course. Like military haircuts (hehe), uniforms, and height, for examples

Amidst all the outward...there is a heart that you love. I was in the same situation but when we met...LET TELL YOU...he my hottie for life. And I already fell in love with him as a person and otherwise so looks could not stop me after that....found out he was a hottie after we met...6'5", 170, tall dark and handsome with qualities that I look for in a future husband.

Pray about it too, God knows your heart and desires as well as this fellow. He will not give you the scum of the earth.

Basically, do any of you think that 'Personality' can be more (or even much more) - important than looks because he does have a 'brilliant' personality, and also.........are any of you now in 'extremely satisfying' relationships or marriages where you have found that his personality, was by far, more important to you than his looks???

Personality is definatly more important than looks. Personality is what causes people to fall in love moreso than the physical stuff in my opinion.

Well I never ever EVER used to find guys attractive. Never!! I think now that Im a bit older, I (disturbingly) am can tell Im getting more attracted physically to men!! Especially Jonno(my fiance). I guess I am the type of girl that looks at him and thinks You, in bed now! hehe. Cant wait to get married. (eek TMI !!)
