It said I was ESTP, but my percentages were all low:
E - 1%
S - 1%
T - 11%
P - 33 %

I think the S could be switched to an N, but the E/I is definitely borderline. I think inventor would be a better description than architect or promoter for me.

Sounds like you might be an ENTP or maybe an INTP. Did you take the Keirsey Temperament Sorter yet?

Rising tree- i am still trying to figure out why i come up with two different things. well now i have gotten a thrid. i used the test you linked to instead of the one in Please Understand Me II. it turned me out as a master mind. the short Kiersey description isn't really all that accurate for me. so i decided to read the link about the S vs N. and i am convinced that i am pretty borderline on this one. because i do not spend all that much time introspectively. but i am completley comfortable in abstract and theoretical discussions. if something is not in my immediate presence, i probably will not think of it. i do not miss much that is going on around me, i ususally see the nuances of people, but i am also able to understand the underlying principles to them. i remember basically everything. except appointments (which is a rational trait)

i wouldn't say i live in the clouds, but i do love to examine and analyze things when prompted. if there is some one to discuss things with me, i can get as abstract as they want.i dont really do it on my own though. i do often sort of forget where i am and where i am going. not really forget it i guess, but let it slip out of my head. i drove past my turn of for work twice this morning. but i dont know what i was thinking about, or if i was even thinking.

so can you puzzle me out? i am sort of leaning toward the S, but i really love abstract things.

Perhaps you are an E and and N. Don't confuse introspection (N) with introversion (I). You do know what the two traits mean, right?

BTW, the test on this thread is old; Keirsey's is more reliable. Unfortunately they don't have a web link to Keirsey's test; otherwise I would post it.

Now this sounds just like an NT. Although they prefer to deal with abstract issues, NTs try to avoid having their heads in the clouds as NFs love to do.

Let's make sure we understand what Introversion vs. Extraversion means. Introverts are typically reserved; Extraverts are typically expressive. Introverts are fully capable of being socially proper, just as Extraverts are capable of screwing up.

The second sentence gives away the fact that you are an Introvert, as you rejuvinate while alone. Extraverts, by contrast, rejuvinate by spending time with others.

Erm, Guardians and Rationals are opposites. One of the people on the Keirsey thread is sorting through that very issue; perhaps you could check out our dialogue and see how well you relate to it.

Actually, when I first learned about the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, I thought that each type was fundamentally different than the other three, and that any two temperaments could be somehow related. As a corollary, I didn't really see all that much difference between the SJ and NT. It was Keirsey's Please Understand Me II, which groups the four temperaments into the Word/Tool Use matrix, that convinced me otherwise.
