I'm persecuted by a roommate about my belief in god and about my faith. Please help.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Many non be livers are looking for a excuses to support their weakness, they have a spiritual void that they need to be filled. Often times they think by being a Christian would take away their fun, they are to selfish in flesh to submit to Christ. So they build a wall of non belief and look to point out a Christians faults to enforce their wall , they like to play the hypocritical Christian game, your no better than me you are a hypocrite. Some try to use science to tear down the Gospel and make you seem ignorant for believing.Then there are those who have been hurt in a church or let down by someone they looked up to. Put on the whole armor of God as quoted in Ephesians and remember your Christian duty to glorify Christ and bring people to him. Pray for your room mate for salvation and pray for spiritual discernment ask God to reveal their heart and other things in their life. Do not give place to the devil, walk as a example for Christ that they may look at you and see him. Let them see you in prayer and blessing your food and giving God praise, stand firm no weapon formed against you will prosper. Your victory will be when they bow with you and accept Christ as lord and savior. Study Ephesians well for your strength and you will prevail through Christ. I am praying for you God bless
