OK, it finally finished downloading, I've listened to the part that was referred to and no, it does not answer my questions. He cites no Church Fathers or Synods in support of what he teaches. Thank you for wasting my time
John

Couldn't PV co-exist with marital consumation?
It co-existed with birth.
No.
Never before the last couple of centuries did anyone seriously believe they could question Mary's perpetual virginity or that she bore any one besides Jesus. That is modern thinking and not from Christianity of the first 1,800 years. With that in mind doesn't anyone else find the notion that Mary had other children as ridiculous because it rejects all of Christian heritage for that of men in the last 200 years?
Friend,
1. Until recently, most thought the world was flat, too. Does that make it dogma that the world is flat?
2. I think you are confusing the dogma of "Mary Had No Sex Ever" (a position in 3 of the 35,000 denominations some Catholics think exist) with a nonexistent dogma of "Jesus Had No Sibs." The dogma is about sex, not sibs.
.
.
Siblings? So Mary only gave birth to Jesus? If so then you are agreeing with 2,000 years of Christianity. If not then you are subscribing to theologies of men from the last 200 years.
Every child of God should know that Faith is not science. So the world is flat has not connection to this discussion.

Perhaps you've forgotten that there has NEVER been a dogma of Jesus Had No Sibs. Not in the RCC, not in the LDS, not ANYWHERE. The dogma being discussed here is the one that insists as a matter of highest importance and certainty that Mary Had No Sex Ever. The subject of this thread is sex, not sibs. Let's try to stay on topic, huh? This is about Mary and how often she had sex - if ever.

Friend and bro,
The only writing you will find in the first 1800 years of Christianity where Jesus is said to have siblings comes from the story About Joseph having been married before marry and having children with his first wife. But because Joseph was so very old and because his wife had long since passed from the first life it was seen as perfectly acceptable for Joseph to take Mary's hand in marriage. In this account you will read where Joseph had a staff that grew a sprout like that of the High Priest in the OT and you will read about Mary's oath to always be a virgin.
Is it realy, tho?
Isn't it about the state of her hymen?
If that survived birth untorn, surviving the consumation of her marriage & the birth of siblings is also possible.
