I'm a recovering perfectionist...I used to be so uptight about everything. Now I'm just uptight about a lot of things.

For instance, I mentally back myself into corners...

At work I get frustrated when faced with a challenge, but when I'm not challenged I feel bored and useless.

I'm a work in progress...please excuse the mess

/me tries to challenge himself, sometimes... like in calculus, he tries to figure out things before the teacher explains it (like why the function's antiderivative can be used to find the area under a section of the function)... :D

Ohh, that's how it kinda is with horses, for me, except that I don't get frustrated - I just get confuseed.

I don't like horses very much that make like easy - I like to have to get inside their brains.

"The wildest fillies make the best mares" - a wise person; the ones that aren't er, complacent, exactly, just have more of a flair in general. Whatever they're doing, they're putting a certain effort into it. Wheras the generally "nice" ones are more complacent in general, without a kind of "flame" that the ones that take some time/thought/effort have.

And now back to your regularly scheduled broadcast, folks.

* onecrazycowgirl will go through it again, but she's pretty sure she'll still get the usual response

* onecrazycowgirl enjoys horses that are challenging, particularly the ones that other people think are a "lost cause"

* onecrazycowgirl knows virtually nothing of the history of this variety of horse, so in order to know what they need from her, she has to find out from them

* onecrazycowgirl can't really ask them in "horse" to tell her in English what has happened that's made them how they are, which would explain exactly how they are

* onecrazycowgirl thinks this is where getting inside their heads come in

* onecrazycowgirl hopes that part's understood ;)

* onecrazycowgirl enjoys working with horses that other people don't, essentially

* onecrazycowgirl thinks that those ones, once they've figured out that humans can be good, simply have something that many other don't

* onecrazycowgirl will try to explain it better - she guesses that the horses that other people don't like simply have a "stronger personalit, and that "stronger personality" puts it's strength into whatever it does, whether it's resisting, or complying, and in order to get that compliance, onecrazycowgirl has to "get" the horse's mind, not just their body, as with many other horses

* onecrazycowgirl hopes that made some sense ;)

Ohhh, nifties!!

Two more perfectionist people!! :D

Hehe, has anybody else ever alphabetized somebody else's cd's by artist and then title?

I did today :D
That's the only way CD's should be stored...
Yeah... ok... I'm a perfectionist too...
But I like things perfect.... all the lines have to go together when placing towels on top of each other... when cleaning... you clean as if you're cleaning Jesus' house.... and the stained tea pitcher is NOT stained... you're just not scrubbing hard enough!

I can make a mistake and not let it bother me.

For example, in math...

;)

Yuck!! I live in the Hoosier state, and I say "fer" for "for" and "intrussting" for "interesting." I hear myself say it all the time and it drives me simply mad, but I just can't make myself remember to say them correctly :D
Are you implying something about the HOOSIERLAND?!? I live here too ;(
